RememberedCards (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates rememberedcards.com (the “Service”), which reminds you of the birthdays and holidays of people you care about and prints greeting cards and mails them to you to sign and send. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, collected when you sign up through our authentication provider (Google Firebase).
• People and dates you add: the names, relationships, birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays you choose to track.
• Card choices: the cards you select for each person and occasion.
• Order and delivery information: when you buy a card, the delivery name and address you provide and your order details. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical information: basic device and usage data, plus cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your cart.

2. How we use your information

• Provide the Service, store your people and dates, send you reminders, and let you choose and order cards.
• Fulfill orders, print and mail cards to the delivery address you provide.
• Send transactional email, order receipts and reminders.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

We share only what’s necessary with the providers that help us run the Service:

• Stripe: payment processing.
• Google Firebase: account sign-in and authentication.
• Cloudflare: website hosting and database.
• Resend: sending email (receipts and reminders).
• Cardly: printing and mailing your cards (receives the delivery name and address and the chosen card).

Each provider processes data on our behalf under its own terms.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use minimal cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete the people you track at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing us. We retain order records as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.

6. Your choices and rights

• Access and update: view and edit your people and dates in your dashboard.
• Delete: remove people anytime, or request account deletion by email.
• Email: turn off reminder emails anytime using the link at the bottom of any reminder, or contact us. Order receipts are transactional.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access or delete your data. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and tokenized payments. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new date.
